Hallo, hola, bonjour and many other greetings!  International Family Fun Night is fast approaching, - FRIDAY, MARCH 24th! For it to be a success we need some help from you!
 

WE NEED VOLUNTEERS!  How you can help:
 

Performances: In the cafeteria we will be having performances representing the various cultures in our community.  If you or someone you know can do anything from Salsa to capoeira and would love to to show it to our community, please consider (or have them consider) signing up to perform. It’s lots of fun and only needs to be about 5 minutes!
 

Food: we need food representing cultures from around the world. Let’s represent the cultures we come from and share some food!   Please consider signing up to share a food dish from a country/culture.
 

Fashion Show: Do you own traditional cultural attire? Sign up to participate in the fashion show!

Thursday: Wear Blue to celebrate our students who have autism. 

Friday: Wear rainbow, multicolor, or tie dye to celebrate all of our exceptional students. 

There are two days left in Exceptional Children's Week! We have loved seeing so many Huskies participate in each day's color theme. Exceptional Children's Week culminates in the Yes, I Can awards ceremony on Friday which honors and celebrates our students with exceptionalities who have demonstrated outstanding achievement in one or more components of their learning. 

In addition, all week long we will be doing a donation drive to help build up some needed sensory materials that benefit all our students (fidgets, headphones, adapted scissors, etc). Click on the button below to donate. 

Join us on Thursday, March 16th, for K-2 Family Math Night! All kindergarten, first, and second grade students are invited to experience math in the real world at the Publix on Haynes Bridge, across from Newtown Park, from 5:30-7:30 pm! Students will receive a math sheet to complete while walking around the store and will get a small prize when they are done.

*Please note, a parent or guardian must stay. This is not a drop off event.*
