Dear Husky Family,
We are excited to start another year of school with you, even though this one will look very different! We know that everyone has a lot of questions and concerns, please feel free to reach out to us at any point. We may not have all the answers but we will work hard to get them!
As we start our school year virtually we are busy working on many ways we can still connect and provide our award winning programming. We believe in the PTA’s motto of Every Child, One Voice, and want to make sure all of our Huskies and their families are served well. Stay tuned for more information about virtual events, coffee chats, chances for parents to connect, ways we are celebrating teachers and staff, and volunteer opportunities. We welcome any ideas or suggestions you may have!
As we look to the year ahead we know that many families and businesses are struggling. We know that there are many ways this pandemic has affected our children; financially, emotionally, physically, and academically. We are ready to help in any way we can. We expect to bring in significantly less in donations this year but hope that every family can join the PTA at some level. Our memberships start at $10. While we would love to increase our higher membership levels we understand that this is not a good time for many people. Joining the PTA, even at the basic level, shows our community and our school that the families believe in the work we are doing.
